Anna Hadingham
Anna Hadingham is an experienced bilingual youth organizer, theater artist, filmmaker, and nonprofit leader who has dedicated her career to promoting youth-led art as a medium for community organizing and social change. Anna began collaborating with organizations in Chelsea in 2017 after returning from a life-changing decade working alongside the grassroots youth arts association Peronia Adolescente in the urban community of Ciudad Peronia on the outskirts of Guatemala City. In Guatemala, Anna led strategic efforts to end stigma against youth, increase civic participation, and transform the community through public art and performance. In 2020, Anna had the pleasure of joining La Colaborativa, and served as Youth Programs Director from 2022-2024.Under her leadership, the organization has expanded their youth program to include holistic mental health services and arts for social change programming informed by Anna’s previous work in Guatemala. Anna also holds a masters in adolescent and youth development from Universidad Rafael Landivar in Guatemala, and is deeply committed to best practices for equitable management, strategic planning, and evaluation of youth-centered work. She is currently supporting La Colaborativa as a part-time development and marketing specialist while she follows her dream of producing a feature film about youth organizers in Guatemala and their fight to end gender violence in their community.
