Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager at La Colaborativa manages all communications and marketing efforts. Reporting to the Director of Development, the Manager is responsible for all content (including digital) creation and implementation; the management of all aspects of La Colaborativa’s social media presence and website. The Manager also works across the organization (and with organizational partners when relevant) to ensure consistent, effective, and on brand communications and marketing support of all projects, programs and events. This position is expected to be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively with internal team members and external stakeholders, and be able to thrive and pivot priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Development Operations Coordinator

The Development Operations Coordinator at La Colaborativa will work closely with the Director of Development to build and maintain a cohesive system for tracking grants and contracts, updating donor info, acknowledging donors, and meeting department-wide deadlines. There will be opportunities to practice and learn across the development field, in areas of grant writing and reporting, evaluating outcomes, and marketing and communications. The Development Operations Coordinator will ensure donor data integrity and organization; create reports that help guide department strategy and evaluation; and ensure consistency of financial records with colleagues in Finance and all Program Departments. This position offers an excellent opportunity to increase technical skills with SalesForce, a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system that is widely used among for-profit and nonprofit companies, and advance a career in development operations within an innovative and expanding community-based organization.

The Good Jobs Coalition Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the activities of a city-wide coalition established in 2018, bringing together non profit organizations, local government, a community college, and a workforce board. Youth Apprenticeship Program Supervisor

La Colaborativa seeks an experienced and energetic youth educator that is comfortable with curriculum development, facilitating workshops to groups of teens and promoting increased access to vocational education for local youth. The youth apprenticeship program supervisor would directly oversee a group of 20 youth ages 16-24 participating in a carpentry pre-apprenticeship program offered through a partnership between La Colaborativa and the New England Carpenters Training Fund on Saturdays. In addition to the technical Saturday program, these youth participants will attend soft skills workshops, leadership development and workforce readiness training delivered by their program supervisor weekdays after school. Director of Health Equity

The Director of Health Equity at La Colaborativa trains, monitors, motivates and supervises health equity activities and engages in partnerships for strategic expansion of activities to improve health outcomes in our Latinx immigrant community. The Director works from a gender-based equity lens to improve the lives and wellbeing of families disproportionately impacted by social determinants of health including the COVID-19 pandemic, systemic racism, and economic inequities in Massachusetts. Workforce Development Coordinator

The Workforce Development Coordinator is responsible for developing strong job leads and providing high quality career counseling, training, and job placement assistance to designated job seekers within La Colaborativa community membership. The Workforce Development Coordinator initiates and sustains collaborative working relationships with a variety of businesses in the greater-Boston area. This individual must have a strong knowledge about issues related to communities with significant socioeconomic barriers to employment as well as experience working with people from diverse backgrounds. The role has a blend of creating significant economic opportunity for clients in a short turn around, while ensuring long term sustainability through training and equitable career pathways, to set members up for independence, success, and socioeconomic advancement.
