STEM Youth Program Facilitator
As a STEM Youth Program Facilitator, you will lead the design and implementation of an after-school youth jobs program with a strong STEM focus. Working with approximately 16 Chelsea youths aged 14-21, you will guide daily sessions, projects, and field trips that foster their engagement and learning in STEM subjects. La Colaborativa seeks an experienced and dedicated Community Organizer to develop and launch organizing projects within La Colaborativa. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of grassroots organizing and familiarity with housing, immigration and labor issues. The Organizer will work closely with the community to identify issues to organize on and execute campaigns through a grassroots approach. Certified Application Counselor (CAC)
La Colaborativa is looking for four Certified Application Counselors (CACs) to help people apply for health insurance benefits, enroll in health plans, and maintain health insurance coverage. As a CAC, you will be responsible for conducting outreach in communities, facilitating enrollment, and providing education on public-funded health care programs. You will also help consumers complete applications and renewals for MassHealth and Health Connector programs, as well as assist with plan selection. Housing Case Manager
La Colaborativa is looking for a housing case manager who will lead housing small-scale mediations and advocate on behalf of tenants regarding rental arrears, housing conditions, and rent increases. Assist in completing RAFT applications through community outreach and scheduled appointments. Forge connections with local landlords, brokers, and property managers to find alternative housing when needed. DTA Case Manager
La Colaborativa is looking for a DTA case manager who will complete 20 new DTA applications per week for members in La Colaborativa’s scope of work. Assist with completing DTA recertification with members and uploading supplemental information or documents. Ensure members are receiving all additional benefits of DTA access. Forge connections with community-based organizations, service providers, and community leaders to ensure all qualifying candidates are receiving DTA benefits. Welcome Specialist (part-time)
The Welcoming Specialist role will require someone to be seated at the front desk and will be responsible for answering all incoming calls to the front desk. Refer to the front desk manager and resource binder to answer any questions members may have as knowledgeable and successful as possible. Welcome members at the front desk and complete an intake form with members of the community. Checking in guests with an appointment and directing them to the waiting area to schedule service appointments for community members with the support of the receptionist team.
