Lauren Phillips-Jackson
Lauren is the Academic Success Coordinator with the La Colaborativa Youth Team. The Academic Success Program is designed to increase access to and quality of academic, career and post-secondary readiness support for Chelsea Youth. These goals are achieved through academic assistance, college readiness and professional development resources, workshops, and mentorship. Lauren strives to create an environment that fosters intellectual curiosity and sense of safety, community and belonging in which to study and envision fulfilling future pathways. Lauren is also a Masters of Social Work Candidate at Boston University specializing in Trauma and Violence. She is passionate about working on holistic, client centered approaches to challenges that sit at the intersection of individual struggles and structural injustices.
